Hallmark says #CardsDoMore. I say #HomemadeCardsMeanMore. In fact, I have never once bought a card for a loved one. I have always enjoyed making them myself. My personalized cards are wildly popular among family, who often refer to my script as “Caroline Font.” These cards are what first sparked my interest in combining text with images. Although it started as a childlike instinct to express my feelings on paper, it has now become much more.
At my core, I am a creative; It is how I navigate the world and connect with others. I have always found joy in discovering the beauty of everyday life and I am passionate about using my creative instincts to turn my innovative ideas into thoughtful, purposeful, and unique design. Whether I am constructing a brand identity, working within an established brand system to execute collateral, or experimenting with layout to elevate print materials, I approach design as a tool to solve problems with creativity and intentionality.
I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design/Studio Art in 2024. This combination was ideal for my ultimate goal to collaborate in developing ideas for advertising campaigns, while using my highly effective organizational, project management, and creative skills to implement a wide array of digital and print materials. As a young professional, several formative experiences have given me good insight into the creative world. Come along with me to explore my work, see how I have grown in essential skills, and learn more about who I am as a creative!
